Introduction


THE LEGEND OF PIGMALION The Pygmalion effect, has its origin in Greek mythology, tells the legend that a king of Cyprus called Pygmalion, a wise and kind man in Greek society, known for his ability as a sculptor, dedicated his free time in creating magnificent sculptures, which adorned his palace. Pygmalion, was very criticized for not being attracted to any woman, was very demanding when choosing his wife, his dream of an ideal and perfect woman only existed in his mind.
